I need to CHMOD a file but it says server does not allow changing of file permissions. Is there a way to solve this? I am the provider..And where i write, i readed in another topic that im gonna write this attrib -r -a -s -h index.log somewhere, but where? I need CHMOD 777 of a cuople files..Please help :cry:

in what is known as the console , shell or command promt and even dos promt

or just rightclick the file you want to change and chose security or permissions or atributes or something (depending on operating system type and version)
