Hi

I am having some trouble with the mailboxes php page under a domain on my xmail server. I login as xmail admin or the domain postmaster, and navigate to the domain information page, where mailboxes should be listed for each user. The web browser sits there for a while as if it is trying to gather information, then it just leaves the page with the menubar on the left and the mailboxes||mailing lists ... links at the top.

There is definitely a mailbox for 2 users in this domain, as I can receive emails through an email client from the server.

Is a particular setup needed to allow phpxmail to see these mailboxes?

No, there is no setup. All the mailbox in any domain should be shown.
The only existing setup is for display also stats (see "phpxmail setup" menu).

You may also try to download another once PHPmail and copy it over your current installation (some files corrupted?)

Hmm, odd. I will try re-downloading phpxmail tonight and see if it makes any difference.

Update > No luck reinstalling the phpxmail instance. It still sits there trying to load mailboxes for quite a while before it appears to give up. There are only 2 mailboxes on the domain so it shouldn't have any timeout issues with trying to gather too much data...

Had you checked if there are other PHP/HTML application that work fine on your system?
(In other words: is your system correctly settled? and PHPXmail is the only with this kind of trouble?)

I have got a couple of other php/cgi based applications running ok using the same web frontend as phpxmail is using.

The platform is actually a Linux based ASUS wl-700ge router, but it has various linux packages that can be put on it, including xmail.

I have tried using php-thttpd and lighttpd to run the phpxmail frontend. Both appear to work with php files fine, (apart from the mailbox page in phpxmail)

I apologize for the silence but I have been ill and today it is the first day that I touch a keyboard...
Have you resolved the problem? Do you have some more data?

Hi

Don't worry about taking so long to get back to work :)

I am still having the same issues, it's only this one page though - all the other pages load fine, but this one just sits there as if it is trying to do something, but it never actually manages it...

Can I take a look at your "domains.tab" file in mailroot of your Xmail server installation?

(If yes, then send it to me as private mail)

ok - just switched my router firmware to openWRT

It's now processing that page quite happily and all is working again!

Obviously it was some odd firmware issue....
