users cannot login

When a user tries to login with ussername@domain, the following error comes up;
Your user name or password is not valid for this server

When I try to login with my username samething happens, however when loggin in with as a admin it all works. All settings for the network are default (0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 allow 1)

I must be missing something (hmm looks familiar to me)
