Hello,
I've just installed apache2triad for the first time, and it is great. I've looked around the control panels, just to get the feel.
I was setting up an FTP account and it didn't seem to work. So I came to this forum and read a post in which the person found out he needed to restart the FTP service.
So I opened the main apache2triadcp and hit stop SlimFTP service. The page told me it stopped, and I went back to the main CP. It said stop again so I clicked it a second time. I went back and it was still only letting me stop the service. So I decided to try and start the process with services.msc, but it says the process started but stopped after that becuase the service is only on when it needs to be used.
I finally tried restarting, but the service didn't start. I clicked Start SlimFTP in the main CP but the service didn't start. I also tried opening it directly from the .exe but it still won't work. I'm going to try another restart.
Any ideas what I should do? |

this is hilarious , so who decides when it needs to be used , please post exact qoute of error message , and look into slimftpd.log |

I had unistalled A2T 1.5.3 and installed 1.4.3, set up a user account, restarted the service and it was fine, then I changed the mount point and went to restart it but I got that message again.

It was about 12:55am 5 minutes ago when starting the service failed and gave me the error at top of post. |
