What is the difference between log name and table name?

What happens with the logging if I have two log names for one table?

log name is a symbolic name you give that specific log , or you can look at it like a description of the log , the log table name is the actual log , the name of the table it is being logged to

you can have the same log table listed twice on the index , it doe not affect the log in any way , you just have a double listing for it
